yvianna autumn.

PINPINWow.  It feels so crazy to be on this space to FINALLY announce that our baby girl is here.  SHE is here!  I thought for sure we were going to 1. have another boy and 2. have a March baby, but no … I was wrong again(!).  Yvianna decided to make her debut April 1, 2018 at 2:32 pm, right at home.  Since then, she has done nothing but melt our hearts and make us so grateful for the beautiful gift that we now have in arms.  She already coos and lights up when her big brothers talk to her, loves when her Papa sings to her, and likes to talk Mama’s ear off.  We are smitten, to say the least!

We have loved the process of picking the name and felt certain attributes were strongly connected to our baby during her pregnancy and we wanted to choose a name accordingly.  For one, we felt overly graced and blessed with the timing of this baby coming and knew she was a gift of life for this season as well, for what her life holds.  Her middle name is a name I wished my name was as a young girl(!), and have thought since we started having kids, one of our daughters would have.  Her name …

YVIANNA: [pronounced: “Eee-vee-anna”; Yvie “Eee-vee” for short] alive, favoured, full of grace, most beautiful one

AUTUMN: a beautiful season (and this Mama’s favourite season)

PINYvianna, you have no idea how much we are in love with you and how you bring so. much. joy. to our lives.  We already know there will be beautiful life in each of your steps – filled with grace, favor, and beauty.  Your life is beautiful season we get to take part in.  We love you, sweet girl.

Calista - I’ve probably said this before, but I’ll say it again: you make the most beautiful babies. I’ve probably already said this too: oh, my gosh, her hair! Both my brother and I had a similar head of hair when we were born {actually, the babies in my family look like the little baby from Ice Age and then we lighten up and embrace our Irish roots as we get older}. She is beautiful. xo xo xoReplyCancel
