happy weekend.

Only slightly excited about this!  Having the boys be so excited about the little things – like snow! – makes me love celebrating this season even more.  It’s not that I ever didn’t like all the celebrations, I just have a renewed love for it all watching the boys light up about what I’ve heard for years.  Talking about little shepherd boys and little drummer boys making their way to see baby Jesus, opening advent and giving little gifts because of God’s great gift to us, and their excited talks about spotting Santa Claus on the front lawn … they are too much fun!  Matt took the boys tobogganing a few times this week (now that we finally have snow!) and the copious amounts of hot chocolate we have been inhaling has kept us warm.  All to say, this year, I especially have all the warm fuzzies around the celebration of our Savior’s birth.

going to steal this idea to make some neighbourly christmas gifts.
